The 5th Of July 2023 in a Village that may not linger in everyone's memory but last night there were a few hundred devotees in attendance, possibly to hear the music of the two main bands on the Bill or quite likely to see a revered member of the massive U.S group R.E.M. 

 The two Bands who played were in fact the same members with two different sets and two different bands quite confusing unless you know. Anyway first on were The No-Ones  with Peter Buck on Bass plus vocals from his long term musical compadre Scott McCaughey, Frode Strømstad and Arne Kjelsrud Mathisen provide the Drums and second Guitar. The same members also returned after a break to perform as The Minus 5 in the second set. The big surprise at the end is a fantastic rendition of "The One I love" sung by an esteemed member of the local community, a fine job he did as well.
