Renowned NYC artist JOAN AS POLICE WOMAN shares “Anyone” and "The Ride", two intimate offerings from "The Real Life Anniversary Sessions" video series, commemorating 20 years since her seminal debut album "Real Life" was released via Reveal Records.  The project of critically acclaimed musician and producer JOAN WASSER, dubbed “the coolest woman in pop” (The Times) and “one of the 21st century’s best musicians” (The Economist), many also know her as a collaborator with Damon Albarn, Tony Allen, Lou Reed, Meshell Ndegeocello, Rufus Wainwright, John Cale, David Byrne and many others.



Joan As Police Woman brings her Real Life 20th Anniversary Tour to the UK and Europe in autumn 2026. On Saturday, March 7, she plays ArtYard in Frenchtown, NJ, followed by a June 20 show at Joe's Pub in NYC. And for listeners everywhere, Joan will be sitting in for IGGY POP on BBC Radio6 Music on Sunday, March 8th, marking International Women’s Day with an All Queens Playlist of the women who fuel her lust for life.
