“The Yorkshire songwriter has a potent emotive touch” Clash Magazine
“A very special artist” Rolling Stone UK

Fiona-Lee shares euphoric new offering ‘Imposter’, out today (November 19th) via Gravity / Capitol Records following last night’s (November 18th) BBC Radio 1 premiere and ‘Next Wave’ feature with Sian Eleri.
Marking the follow-up to September release ‘Victim’ and coinciding with her sold-out debut UK headline show at Leeds’ Oporto tonight, the enigmatic musician’s formidable talent is reinforced throughout her latest effort, with spellbinding vocals and a soaring guitar solo resulting in her most audacious single to date.
After supporting CMAT earlier this summer, and with upcoming dates across the UK with Miles Kane and Seb Lowe (incl. London’s Roundhouse and Manchester’s Albert Hall) in December and January, Fiona-Lee is readying herself for a busy 2026 on the live front. Partnering with esteemed producer Thom Lewis (Sam Fender - ‘Hypersonic Missiles’ and ‘Seventeen Going Under’) for her latest set of releases, the Yorkshire native is primed to unveil further new music early next year.
Heavily praised throughout the press landscape from the likes of The Telegraph, DIY Magazine, Dork Magazine, Rolling Stone UK, Clash Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit, Wonderland and Under The Radar, as well as becoming a standout emerging figure on the BBC 6 Music airwaves (Huw Stephens & Steve Lamacq - The Great Escape specials, Amy Lamé -‘Sunday Girl’), the musician has already ticked off a BBC Radio 4 ‘Woman’s Hour’ appearance and landed several BBC Radio 1 (Nels Hylton, Sian Eleri) spins.

Detailing the origins of her latest release, Fiona-Lee explained: “This song shares my experience with imposter syndrome - the constant battle against intense self-doubt. It’s about letting go of the facade and confronting the inner struggle that holds you back. To me, imposter syndrome feels like a shadow that follows me everywhere, crushing any sense of self-belief or hope. I wrote ‘Imposter’ during a brief moment of freedom from that weight, a time when I could finally see things clearly and express myself authentically. I think this song perfectly captures my experience of the fleeting journey between struggle and release.”
Produced by Thom Lewis, Fiona-Lee’s ‘Imposter’ is out now via Gravity / Capitol Records and available on all digital platforms.
