Scottish electronic/post-punk newcomers DOSS announce their self-titled ‘DOSS’ EP (pre-order here), set for release May 29th via Alcopop! Records (Art Brut, Ditz, The Wytches) and share raucous new single ‘BIGFELLAFUNK’, out today (April 29th).

Marking the follow-up to acclaimed lead single ‘SUPERSECRETAGENT’, DOSS’ forthcoming EP showcases their abrasive sound and biting Glaswegian to perfection. Blending sharp social commentary with distorted bass, fractured electronics, and heavy rhythms, the rising duo have already been given a seal of approval from the likes of The Line Of Best Fit and Rough Trade, whilst early radio support has arrived across both the BBC 6 Music and KEXP airwaves.

With an explosive live reputation earning them recent shows alongside contemporaries such as Deadletter and Fat Dog, the band have also recently ticked off a sold-out hometown headliner at Glasgow’s The Art School Venue, and will be gigging throughout the summer months with shows across the UK and Europe to celebrate the arrival of their upcoming EP.

Detailing ‘BIGFELLAFUNK’, the Glasgow outfit revealed: “Deranged funk. Slick, polished, and smooth on the surface, but cracking underneath. A portrait of yuppies, lawmakers, and deal-makers who appear in control while quietly imploding. The higher up the food chain, the darker the skeletons. American Psycho meets Bad Lieutenant.”
