Here is the new single "Soulless" from LatinX San Diego based industrial/darkwave trio Matte Blvck. “Soulless” is about finding yourself again when everything feels empty. It’s a song about breaking free from illusions, whether that’s religion, love, or the stories we tell ourselves. It’s about remembering who you are beneath all the noise, and choosing to believe again, even when it hurts. -Alex Gonzales The song is driven by tension and release: slow-burning builds, rhythmic detail, and layers tucked between drum patterns and melodic threads.

The single is released via Breathing Records and is off of their Inhale Vol. I compilation album which was created as both a celebration of boundary-pushing artists across the avant-garde, underground, industrial, and dark electronic scene, Inhale Vol. I contains 10 tracks from 11 artists, and is being pressed to 140 gram dark cherry vinyl with an accompanying artist booklet. The compilation releases digitally November 14th, 2025, with vinyl ready in December.
