Wendy James shouldn't require introduction, she has Rock 'n' Roll driving through her veins, since becoming an icon in the later eighties for not just her unique image but her never compromise female spirit.

At The Brook in Southampton we experienced her devotion to her music from the early single "Tell that Girl to Shut Up" right through to "Everything is Magic" from the 2024 Album The Shape of History. It is of course the songs from 1988 and 1989 as Transvision Vamp that receive the most response, it is easy to forget that James was the huge phenomenon and influence in those fleeting years.

The band consists of Dave Parsons (Transvision Vamp) on Bass Guitar, Alex Ward on Guitar, and James Sclavunos on the Drums. This is the trusted lineup, which supports James' live shows, including recent tours and performances of songs from her solo work and Transvision Vamp.
