The evening started quietly with a fairly sparce crowd, support band Boy Loco livened up the slowly increasing stream of people entering the venue until it was pretty rammed come 9 o'clock showtime for The Jungle Giants.

A mostly blue and red light show with occasional splashes of bright white light made for a shadowy stage, prowled by lead singer Sam Hales. He used every inch available including two launch pads to encourage the now massed crowd into chants and hands aloft for the dance oriented songs.

Bassist Andrew Dooris charged from his back stage position occasionally to leap into the air and then return to the back of stage to recharge before another energetic moment was needed.

The Koko Show was the first night of a short tour of the UK including a set at The Wilderness Festival the coming weekend. Tonight's show at Koko certainly warmed the hearts of the young fans there, who left fully satisfied.
